sulkyblueblogToday's big question - do people actually drink Diet Coke because they like the flavour? I had a bad experience with Coke Zed at the weekend and am currently trying to drink Diet Coke and this is causing me ponderings.

Date: 2006-08-01 04:44 pm (UTC)To answer your original question, I'm aware that some people do genuinely prefer the taste of diet versions (e.g. because they find the sugar version sickly), but I'm not one of them. However, I could happily drink 2L of Coke a day, which does nasty things to my WW points quota, so I make do with substitutes.

Date: 2006-08-02 11:33 am (UTC)Regarding accessories, I always put ice in my Coke if I'm having it at home. More generally, I think all cola tastes significantly better if it's ice cold, either due to ice or because it's just out of a fridge.
