Following epic nagging from

non_trivial I embarked on an expedition to visit them in Cornwall for Easter weekend. It never ceases to amaze me how much of the country there is down there, even once you get to Exeter there's STILL a couple of hours of train journey ahead of you. Astonishingly I picked the right weekend weather-wise and it was beautifully sunny with a nice sea breeze. We spent most of the weekend doing not very much at all, partly because of the rather apathetic public transport options on bank holidays, and mostly because we couldn't be bothered. I can't remember the last time I just sat on a beach and did nothing, but it's probably on the scale of decades.
