I have flu. I've now reached the sniveling, snuffling, desperate need to breath point of the proceedings. Yesterday was the stay in one place so the world doesn't spin alarmingly phase. Neither of these are exactly condusive to working, so I've been nesting in bed surrounded by tissues, throat sweets, cushions and dvds. All things considered, it's been rather nice.

Managed to clear most of my backlog of dvds, including Being John Malkovich and The Big Lebowski, neither of which I would advise watching while doped up on flu medication. Liberally interspersed with CSI, re-watched most of the first season in the last few days. This show is just too good.

In other news... not a lot going on. Went to Dad's on Sunday for a pleasant chicken dinner and grand prix. The race was pretty interesting, nice performances from Reubans, DC, Kimi, Button and Sato, astoundingly poor performances from the Schumacher brothers. Nice close finish to the championship, at least Michael had to fight for it this year. All in all a great season, with some disappointing results, next year should be fun. Now I just have several months to wait until more racing.

Started my journalism course last week. It's quite interesting, although I have to say I was a little disappointed to find that the London School of Journalism is three rooms in the bottom of a house. The lecturer seems to know what he's talking about and I'm learning some stuff but I don't think it's something I'd want to do full time.

Currently all I want to do is be able to breath properly ;0)
