Well i'm sat at work again, pretty much bored out of my skull. I managed to do about an hours work this morning, maybe 2 before running out of things to do. I've spent the rest of hte day attempting to read stuff that's relevant to work, but mostly failing miserably. Instead I've been working my way through a page of extensive rants and observations. Many of which have had me laughing out loud and gaining funny looks from the rest of the office. For example Portrait of hte Hacker at Home and do what thou wilt.
I'm trying to decide whether it's even worth me pretending i'm doing productive stuff. ONly one person can my screen and he's the one that's told me there's nothing to do. But I feel bad blatantly catching up on User friendly while I'm at work.
Other events of interest since my last post. Several games of magic with michael, the majority of which I lost, a passable turkey, cranberry sauce and mozeralla panini and rather nice white choc cookie (ben's cookies... hmm...), a couple dozen more pages of my current book (Freedom and Necessity by Steven Brust and Emma Bull - quite cool but not exactly an easy read), some more warcraft (still not thinking much of hte orcs) and... erm.. sleep i guess.
Trying to decide whether I have the enthusiasm to trek to Shepherds Bush and back to see Daredevil. Suspect not. This whole bordom thing is leaching my will to live. only about 18 hours more work until the weekend!
