A whole new era...
Apr. 5th, 2007 12:18 pmAfter five years on one lj design, I've finally got round to updating it! This took a couple of iterations thanks to foolishly not reading all the instructions and therefore trying to use the old S1 system before discovering that the S2 system actually allowed a lot more control despite being labeled as less technical. Ah well. I'm quite pleased with it at the moment, although I wouldn't be surprised if I hate it by the weekend and tweak it some more.
I'm also going to start using more than one user icon. I've always used just the purple one in the past because it makes more sense to me to have just one image associated with my lj from the point of view of friends pages. I'll probably still limit is quite heavily, using my picture for posts which are personal and the purple one for more generic blog posts.
I'm holiday booking this weekend, so if anyone has any recommendations for hotels or places to see in Barcelona, they'd be much appreciated.
I'm off to Weston this evening for the Easter break, hopefully the M4 traffic will be minimal (unlikely), the Malaysian GP will be exciting (marginal) and the weekend will be relaxing (could go either way). I may spend the weekend sitting in the back garden reading a book and avoiding all the tourists on the beech.
