Dec. 15th, 2006

Yesterday's office christmas lunch was not too horendous. We went to Ev in Southwark for a traditional christmas mousakka, collection of unidentifiable starters and baklava. I managed to sneak my way in amongst the cool people and avoid all management for most of the meal. The only problem was the unsurprisingly sound issue in a railway arch, between the noise of trains into waterloo and the echoey caverness I found it amazingly difficult to hear what people were saying. But all things considered it was quite pleasant and all over by 4 allowing me time for a walk down the very prettily lit South Bank before heading home to tidy, clean and vacuum everything in sight. [livejournal.com profile] sammoore and Ruth bought me chocolates and all is well.

Today's todo list features a lot of shopping, wrapping a couple of hundred cocktail sausages in bacon and wondering what on earth to do with the mountain of cranberries we seem to have. The suitability of the fact that it is apparently "Cat herders' day" is not lost on me.

15th December

Nathan Fillion cast in Tim Minear's Drive - he's replacing someone from the pilot. There's some good names in this cast.
Project management made easy
Another Stargate series for 2008?
Strobe photography - some amazing photos taken at very high speed
Review your year in flickr - here's mine although it's not very exciting 'cos my photos tend to come in clumps.
Simple seating charts
Cute! and possibly part of some chinese proverb.
Really weird deer - killed when it ran under a truck it had extra appendages and male and female sex organs. But then it got eaten.
