The manic week continues. There are two large turkeys defrosting in my car boot, I've just handed in my resignation, the office christmas lunch is today, [livejournal.com profile] sammoore and Ruth are arriving 'some time' in the next 24 hours and there's a fibre optic christmas tree opposite my desk trying to induce epilepsy in the office.

Also Livejournal has changed the update page (which I use 'cos I never did get round to installing the little programmy thingy) and it's freaking me out.

Saturday morning science moves the the ISS to Antarctica
Analysis of the dancing in Charlie Brown's Christmas thingy
Armadillo Run - physics based puzzle game which is supposed to be quite good but I haven't actually tried yet.
Interview with David Cohen about upcoming Futurama
Wikisummaries - book summaries
Writers Guild of America nominations. Heroes and Battlestar have nominations, although neither as best dramatic series. Heroes should win the best new series (imho of course), the best episode is actually a much harder battle, I've actually seen all of the episodes except the Stephen King but think Election Day just edges out Battlestar and Studio 60. Just. Maybe.
New sf (ish) series - New Amsterdam - oh it's on Fox. Never mind.

Golden Globes Nominations

Seriously?!

How many people have to rave about Battlestar frigging Galactica for it to get a nomination? Lost was terrible last season, Big Love and Grey's are good, but just not even in the same league as Battlestar. I've never seen 24 so will refrain from comment. Heroes can compete but has only had half the episodes Battlestar has this year so far.

Ugh.
