I am feeling very irate today. Mostly this is just a confluence of minor indicidents that are conspiring to piss me off, individually there'd be mild ire, en mass however they've turned me into a small ball of seething rage.

1. At 8.20 this morning the water board decided to use a pneaumatic drill to remove a paving stone outside my window. At 8.30 they completed this task and sodded off for the rest of the day


2. The VAT people are trying their very hardest to cause my brother to have some kind of breakdown. The original 14 days is currently standing at over 30 and they've just said it might take anywhere between another 3 days to 8 weeks. Isn't that helpful of them.


3. I've just put in an application for a job which perfectly matches my qualifications and I'm 90% certain I got rejected from without interview 2 months ago when it was advertised the first time round.


4. A potential freelance client after seeking me out and asking my details has decided that their site doesn't warrant any expenditure. Yes your site has a low turnover (I know this probably better than they do thanks to previous experience), but you are a large international company. Either eat the cost or stop pissing about. Either way, don't get my hopes and then let me down.

Hopefully the length of this list will not increase over the rest of the day, but given I'm about to start hunting for more jobs to apply for it seems unlikely.
