Devonian Visitations
Nov. 7th, 2007 01:38 pmA road trip, a wedding and a bunch of people sharing a cottage. A thoroughly brilliant weekend!
Locations include: Wookey Hole Caves (cheesy and disappointing), Glastonbury (just a quick lunch stop, but pretty), Guinea Cottage and Burnville Farm, Elephant's Nest (superb food), Lydford Gorge (very pretty), Hotel Endsleigh (a beautiful venue and a lovely wedding), Tavistock (some charming elements but mostly we went for the supermarket) and finally Plymouth (a hole that hates visitors).
Thanks for a lovely weekend everyone, particular Adam and Billy for fantastic breakfasts and Richard and Claire for a lovely day.
