The Ig Noble Awards - although the site is currently toast, try the BBC instead
Nathon Fillion on Lost - for at least 2 episodes, starting filming next week. The only other stuff in that link is a spoiler for who he plays.
Glarkware has some tshirts that I think may resonate with some of you, notably Good grammar costs nothing! and Olde tyme villain
Match Made in Hell - there was a Gears of War promo event last night which forced journalists to sit through the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre before allowing them to play Gears on the huge screen. It's converted some sceptics but some are complaining that it's horribly buggy.
Fable 2 reaches 'first playable' status with a quest which will apparently never see release and includes "such things as a magical potion, some pretty messed-up, dandy-dressed, wizard-types and most importantly such a dramatic outcome of a twisted nature, that it would make Joe Average Jr. freak out"
Teeny tiny house
John Varley's huge robot collection for sale (that's a huge collection, not a collection of huge robots.
New chess piece introduced and some rejected concepts.
Interview with Neil Gaiman including info on selling the option to Good Omens to Terry Gilliam for a groat.
Today's Flickr search 'flying squirrel' - a bit disappointing.
